The Vocational Centre for International Development-VCID is announcing to the general public that admissions into their Diploma in Fashion Design and Clothing Industry, Hairdressing and barbing programs are currently going on for the 2019/2020 academic year. The Centre is well equipped with modern machines and facilities to give students hands-on experience in the domain of their interest.
About the Vocational Centre for International Development-VCID
The Vocational Centre for International Development (VCID), a private intensive professional training center, is one of Cameroon’s leading skill-based pitch offering project management and technical and vocational qualifications to a cross section of people. We deliver on-the-job training and ensure that our trainees become employable upon graduation. More than 90% of our trainees end up as self-employed and or job creators. VCID was founded in 2015 and in 2017, VCID was officially authorized by the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training to champion and revitalize Technical Vocational Education and Training. VCID is a member of the International Vocational Education and Training Association (IVETA).
Available programs for Yaoundé Centre
1.Level 1: Fashion Design and Clothing Industry (25 places)
2.Level 2: Fashion Design and Clothing Industry (25 places)
3.Level 3: Fashion Design and Clothing Industry (25 places)
4.Hairdressing, beauty and Make-up (15places)
5.Barbing Studies (5places)
N/B: Fashion Design Program is scheduled for three sessions of 3 hours each as follows:
1.Hold at least FSLC. Holders of GCE O/L or CAP, Porbatoire, Baccalaureate or A/L will have a competitive advantage.
2.Individuals with Degrees who want to gain skills in the area of Fashion Design
3.Candidate should be able to show proof of English Proficiency (will be tested)
4.Must be a national of Cameroon (for those to benefit from partial scholarships)
