JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Controller.
    
Supervisor: Head of accounting and audit department.
    
Place: Douala Cameroon.
    
Date of service: January 2019.
    
Working hours: 40 hours per week.
    
Remuneration: To be negotiated.

YOUR MISSION

Under the supervision of the Head of the Accounting and Audit Department, the Controller organizes and controls the company's economic management (definition of objectives, activity indicators, performance measurement ...), optimizes financial profitability and helps the governing bodies to define its general strategy.

The management controller is a true transmission belt between the operational and the General Management. It exercises permanent control over the company's budgets. It carries out the forecast budgets and develops the necessary tools for monitoring the results. These tools allow it to check whether the company has achieved its objectives. If this is not the case, he advises management on the actions to be taken to rectify the shooting.

Main activities :

    
Assist management in monitoring the strategy and in its operational implementation;
    
Participate in the definition of forecasts, conduct financial and economic studies in order to anticipate the results;
    
Elaborate the management procedures and tools (reporting tools, dashboard, controls, indicators, etc.) and monitor them in order to analyze the company's performance, anticipate deviations from objectives and advocate corrective and preventive actions ;
    
Establish the master plan of budgets (Definition of budgetary procedures, follow-up of accounting closings, etc.);
    
Provide reliable and useful financial information for the development of the company's strategy;
    
Appreciate the gaps between results and objectives. Propose to the management the actions to be put in place to remedy it.

REQUIRED PROFILE

    
Diploma: Hold a degree in Finance / Management Control or a Master in Management Control.
    
Experience: Have relevant experience of at least 02 years in a similar position.
    
Age: Between 25 and 35 years old.
    
Gender: M / F.
    
Knowledge :
    
To have a perfect command of the accounting procedures of a company:
    
Have a perfect command of the IT tool and management software (Sage Compta; Microsoft Excel);
    
Being bilingual (French and English) and knowledgeable in Human Resources Management would be assets;

REQUIRED QUALITIES

    
Rigor and compliance with deadlines and procedures;
    
Know how to write professional reports;
    
Have genuine teamwork skills;
    
Have a sense of listening and discretion;
    
Ability to work under pressure;
    
Be rigorous and organized in his work.
