CALL FOR INTERNAL / EXTERNAL APPLICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF A RECEPTIONIST AND LOGISTIC-EVENT ASSISTANT - BAND 2A FOR THE RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF THE DEUTSCHE GESELLSCHAFT FÜR INTERNATIONAL ZUSAMMENARBEIT (GIZ / PADER) GmbH IN GAROUA .

As part of its activities in Garoua, GIZ / PADER is looking for a Receptionist and Logistics-Event Assistant.

Description of tasks :

Under the supervision of the Finance Officer of the Rural Development Cluster, the incumbent will:

    
Receive visitors from the GIZ Garoua office programs;
    
Ensure the redaction of administrative correspondence and the distribution of incoming mail;
    
Manage a table of trips in the communes (information to be provided by the programs) for better coordination of drivers and vehicles;
    
Develop a flight schedule in Yaoundé and travel to N'Gaoundéré of the four programs;
    
Organize the events of the four programs on site at their request;
    
Undertake the necessary administrative procedures for the holding of events;
    
Contribute to the development and monitoring of event budgets;
    
Assist in coordinating providers
    
Manage the logistics of meetings, workshops, seminars and other events (reservation of rooms, meals, equipment, accommodation, transport, etc ...);
    
Perform all tasks assigned by the hierarchy.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

    
Minimum BAC + 2 in management or equivalent degree
    
Have at least 1 to 3 years of professional experience in a similar position
    
Communication skills in one of the official languages ??of Cameroon (French) and knowledge in the other language (English), the Fulfulde Mastery would be an asset
    
Knowledge of computer tools, Windows environment, accounting software and telecommunications and office automation instruments
    
Good interpersonal skills
    
Fit for work oriented towards customer satisfaction
    
Being able to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment
    
Strong integrity and good sense of work organization.

Required date of service: April 15, 2018
